Putting Your Life Together
You'll find information here about the various approaches I offer. Modern life presents many different challenges. Most people cope well by simply getting on with their lives, but sometimes it feels like no-one wants to listen. The decision to see a therapist is usually made as a result of a difficult time or trauma, either now or in the past ("the straw that broke the camel’s back") . You might notice you are not coping as well as usual but not really know why, or you might feel stuck and unable to move forward. Often people come to talk things through with someone who is independent but with a genuine desire to support you in a non-directive way. This "safe place" enables the client to focus on their own needs and feelings, without worrying about being judged or hurting someone’s feelings. Many people worry about upsetting others or what others think of them – and end up not knowing how they feel themselves. My approach strives to connect you with your own emotions and put things together in a way that completes your best version of a fulfilled life.
I am a BACP accredited counsellor / psychotherapist with over 15 years experience working full time with clients from all walks of life and a wide range of problems. I am particularly interested in enabling clients to tune into their own inner resources to understand, empower and support themselves in difficult situations, and teaching them new skills to help make life more manageable and enjoyable.
I currently see clients online.
